As a former member of a Search & Rescue Team, Law Enforcement, and Outdoorsman; readiness for any environment and elements within are essential for survival. The right equipment, tools, and supplies are part of this readiness; and it all starts within the first 24 hours of separation from common resources we depend on. Resources from water, food, shelter, warmth, and various clothing to get us through the day and night. Dependance on the environment away from our home comforts can be devastating, without the proper alternatives in place and understanding how to utilize them for our survival.
